Dr. Nkemngo Francis is currently the head of research and training at the Centre for Infection Biology and Tropical Health (CIBITH), University of Buea, and cojoint research scientist at CRID Cameroon. Nkemngo Francis holds a PhD in Infection Biology with keen interest in malaria and helminths research through employing an integrative one-health approach to inform public health decision policies. His training included summer school programmes in USA (Biology of parasitism course) and Switzerland (University of Bern). He is a recipient of numerous research grant funding including NIHR/RSTMH (UK), ISID (USA), WHO/TDR, with a track record publication in reputable scientific journals. He is also a reviewer for several scientific journals as well as member of several grant review panels of international funding agencies. Dr. Nkemngo is fundamentally interested in research, teaching, and capacity building of next-generation early career scientists.
